I fell in love with this brown alarm clock as soon as it crossed my path. I bought it in Southbank London last Monday and the first night it woke me up at 6am! Forgot to turn the alarm off. Now I am back in Barcelona, London and Cardiff were great, Suede and the Manics too. I have many pictures, things to share etc. But that's all for today, need some coffee!
Watched Eurovision contest last night. It was quite depressing to see one of our least favolurite bands reaching the top and being number one at the end.
The recipe was from this book by Jo Stepaniak. I didn't know that book until today, but now it's on the top of my book wish list. By the way, the cover is linked to its Amazon page. The guy making the recipe was a bit messy and missed some ingredients which made the video even funnier. I found some really nice pictures in this blog.
I am not sure about the uncheese taste. Probably the cooked ones with vegetables, pasta, rice... might taste good, but the raw blocks scare me. As soon as I buy the book I will search the index for the roquefort cheese recipe, in case there is one. Maybe you can fake it with rotten tofu? Ha!
So simple and so perfect. I keep changing my apartment decoration and this is a great inspiration right now. I should get rid of my huge sofa and get some chairs and a table. I took this picture in London last year, it looked even better in real life.
Tomorrow at patchwork class I will finish a wall clock. A tea themed one, with a teapot and a biscuit! I am having some problems with the embroidery but will try to solve them tonight.
I'm working a lot these days because next week I'm flying to London and Cardiff to see Suede and Manic Street Preachers live. I am so excited! Will meet some friends, make some vintage shopping, go to Urban Outfitters to buy a bag I'm in love with, visit the new Spiller Records shop in Cardiff, have some coffee in Bar Italia... Too many great things to do.
This is the 20th anniversary french issue (May/June) of Marie Claire Idées. I just bought it two days ago and I am in love with every single page: recipes, crafts, decoration ideas... Everything with complete instructions to DIY.
