Animated days

I am ready for an anime-cartoon marathon tomorrow on my own. The plan is to watch films and clean the apartment, and maybe make some cupcakes. So I have put together a list of films: Monster House, Up, Coraline, Ice Age, Madagascar, Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy, Chicken Little, Ant Bully, Cars, Ponyo, Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster, Howl's Moving Castle... Any suggestions are welcome today.

I wanted to find some 80s movies, like the Care Bears ones, My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, She-ra... But no luck, so I will use this chance to improve my cultural knowledge about "modern day" animation films. But you just have to have a look, in the cuteness battle the 80s win:

I am currently downloading The Biggest Loser 4th US season, but it might not be complete for the next 24 hours.

Mar says RELAX

This was a busy work week. I say "was" because now my weekend starts. I have some apartment stuff to do but that's something you can enjoy if you have the right music on. I still have to listen to Richard Oakes' EP! I bought it at Suede's gig in London and it's still waiting. Tomorrow will be the day!

Lovely new clock

I fell in love with this brown alarm clock as soon as it crossed my path. I bought it in Southbank London last Monday and the first night it woke me up at 6am! Forgot to turn the alarm off.
Now I am back in Barcelona, London and Cardiff were great, Suede and the Manics too. I have many pictures, things to share etc. But that's all for today, need some coffee!

Vintage furniture love

So simple and so perfect. I keep changing my apartment decoration and this is a great inspiration right now. I should get rid of my huge sofa and get some chairs and a table. I took this picture in London last year, it looked even better in real life.

Tomorrow at patchwork class I will finish a wall clock. A tea themed one, with a teapot and a biscuit! I am having some problems with the embroidery but will try to solve them tonight.
